Looking to get the word out with Facebook? This guide will help you get started and on the road to creating a successful strategy.

Below is a list of ways to begin engaging your community for 1831 Day!

Talk it up! Post about why you are giving on 1831 Day and share stories and photos from your time on The Hill. Ask your followers questions to engage them in dialogue. Remember to keep posts brief!

Tell everyone that the Annual Fund priority you are supporting is a part of 1831 Day. Be sure to tell people what it is all about. Let them know how they can make a gift, and ask them to spread the word.

Create a Facebook event. Invite your Facebook friends to be part of 1831 Day so they can be reminded as the day gets closer, AND see who else is participating. Also, tell people to invite others. Socialize! Like other Ambassadors' posts, re-share posts that stand out, and be active in the comment section. Share Denison’s Instagram posts on your stories!

Want to engage donors and share information about your fundraising efforts quickly? Sharing with your connections on LinkedIn is a great way to spread the word about 1831 Day!
